Ezra Gennello is a passionate hockey professional whose career has spanned both the ice and the broadcast booth. A former junior hockey player, Ezra brings a player’s perspective and deep understanding of the game to every role he takes on. His love for the sport and natural storytelling ability led him to Franklin Pierce University, where he launched his play-by-play broadcasting career while earning his degree.

At Franklin Pierce, Ezra quickly established himself as a dynamic and insightful voice behind the mic—calling games across multiple sports and honing his craft as a communicator and storyteller. His experience, professionalism, and enthusiasm for hockey opened the door to the United States Hockey League (USHL), where he now serves as the Director of Communications and Broadcasting for the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

In Muskegon, Ezra oversees the team’s media operations, produces engaging content, and serves as the play-by-play voice of the Lumberjacks. His combination of on-ice experience, broadcasting expertise, and dedication to growing the game make him one of the bright young talents in hockey media today.
